ask them to turn it on for you… to see if it turns on…
electronics either work or don't work…..
make sure there aren't any majpr scrathes on the screen….
I bought a 20" LCD from circuit city no box…… it works great!
saves a bunch too…..
Most lcd televisions are made by the same standard no matter where they are manufactured. Egypt, Japan is really makes no difference. A good lcd should easily last 20 years or more.
LG but I would prefer Samsung especially when they make huge discount!
That's odd, last time I went to Best Buy, the Sony Bravia LCD was making all the others look like they had wax paper on their screens.
Yeah, thats pretty common.
Sounds as though your screen resolution or refresh rate is set too high on your pc. To fix this, go into display properties and select settings and for now go to the lowest resolution(for example 640X480@60hz) and apply settings. Also, to change refresh rate try the advance button within the settings tab of the display properties and click on the tab that says monitor. Good luck.
it might be a groundloop check to see if the plug has 3 prongs if it does buy a adapter to make it 2 prong radio shack has em 3-4$ http://www.electronicplus.com/images/products/419GY.jpg
if not i dont know.
on the pic dont use the little metal thing break it off
check the tvs plug as well
the sd picture on your 26" will look good, maybe a little foggy. Use the S-video input for the best results. I would avoid the HD programming option on a set that small because the HD resolution doesn't really shine until a 40" screen but that's with my eyes your results may vary
LCD PROJECTION RIGHT?
Of couse, it has filters…..
Your blue blob is caused by red/green lcd panels taking a dump on you….they need replaced.
You can get a brand new LIGHT ENGINE or you can have it sent to PTS for a rebuild….
Either one will fix it. But you need to find a TV tech that knows of PTS and can pull the engine out for servicing….
I won't recommend any normal person pull the engine, it's way too complicated installing it again and getting a square/rectangle picture out of it….
